CodeXox General Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before creating an account or deploying software on CodeXox. By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these provisions.
You Own 100% of All Generated Code and Intellectual Property
As between you and CodeXox, you retain full, exclusive ownership of all code, assets, database schemas, and intellectual property synthesized via our AI models and Studio IDE. CodeXox claims zero ownership, licensing royalties, or restrictions on the software you build.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
By registering for an account, accessing codexox.com, utilizing our CLI tools, or connecting to our Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to enter into this binding agreement. If you are accepting on behalf of an enterprise or entity, you confirm you possess full authority to bind that entity.
2. Account Security & Organization Roles
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, API keys, and personal access tokens. CodeXox provides Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) allowing project owners to assign Owner, Admin, Developer, and Viewer roles. Owners bear full responsibility for billing commitments and permissions delegated within their workspace.
3. Subscriptions, Token Credits & Cancellation
Certain features of CodeXox require a paid subscription or the purchase of compute credits. Subscriptions automatically renew at the beginning of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to renewal through your dashboard settings. Unused monthly promotional credits do not roll over to subsequent months unless explicitly stated in your plan.
4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use CodeXox to synthesize, host, or distribute:
- Malicious software, trojans, ransomware, or exploits designed to compromise computer systems.
- Phishing landing pages, credential theft harvesters, or deceptive brand impersonations.
- Denial-of-Service (DoS) tools, automated botnet controllers, or unlicensed scraping relays.
- Content that violates third-party copyright, trade secret, or intellectual property rights.
Violation of these rules will result in immediate termination of hosting and account access without refund. See our full Platform Rules for details.
5. Service Availability & Hosting SLA
While CodeXox strives for uninterrupted 99.99% system availability, our standard tiers are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted uptime. Enterprise customers requiring dedicated financial uptime SLAs should consult our Enterprise Terms & SLA.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CodeXox and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data corruption, or business interruption arising out of the use or inability to use the platform.
7. Governing Law & Arbitration
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding confidential arbitration.
